I believe that massage therapy is much more than a rub down. Massage therapy not only positively affects your physical body, but can make shifts in all aspects of your well-being. I thoroughly believe in the power of our mind/body connection. My intention while doing bodywork is to be as present to you as possible by using all of my senses. I chose the name of my business, Centered Touch, to always remind myself to be centered before I ever put my hands on you. I do this by visualizing and breathing into my own body center and my heart.

About The Massage

Each time you arrive for a massage I like to have a quick check-in with you to determine your needs for the session. I find this time helpful in connecting with you as I begin to use my senses and skills to decide how I can best be of help. I believe strongly that we can take part in our own healing. Therefore, I listen very carefully to you as you may tell me what you think has caused your discomfort or what you may need to correct the problem. In this way we are working together for improved health and well-being. You may need purely a relaxation massage, a therapeutic massage, or a blend of the two.

I use a combination of Swedish style, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, acupressure, and intuition, to customize the massage to meet your needs. The environment is quiet and serene. At no extra cost, I offer you a fragrant aromatherapy oil to be used on your body. An aromatic oil is also dispersed into the room to enhance the environment and the therapeutic affects.
